  4.     CHARGES DROPPED. Against Michael Reagan, 43, adopted son of
  5. the former President, for making a threatening phone call to
  6. photographer Roger Sandler; in Los Angeles. The two got
  7. entangled in a dispute over the allegedly unauthorized use of
  8. Sandler's pictures in the younger Reagan's 1988 memoir, On the
  9. Outside Looking In. Last month Reagan left a message on
  10. Sandler's phone-answering machine that included the words "I
  11. hope your (expletive deleted) family dies in a plane crash with
  12. you in it." A prosecutor dismissed the case after Reagan
  13. apologized to Sandler.
